Cindy Chavez, Supervisor District 2
Santa Clara County Supervisor Cindy Chavez represents more than 400,000 residents in District 2. This district includes the area of Central, East and South San Jose. She was sworn into office in August 2013 following a special election and was re-elected in June 2016 for a full four-year term. In January 2018 she became vice president of the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors and was re-elected in 2019 by board members. Read more.
